Go get your self a copy of the latest Expose Magazine to read the article of one of the best trip that Tim and Marcus did in Croatia this past May.
You will see the photos, that place got some crazy unknown skate spots.

I remember that Yannick from Simili magazine (in France) told me that Croatia was a fabulous place to go for skateboarding and city of Split was the best (yeah, same name than the famous US clothing brand). He did an interesting article with Dany Hamard, Split in Split.

Always looking forward to discover new and unseen destinations, our duo Tim and Marcus are flying back to the old continent in December. But this time, they are going to straight to the Dubaï and maybe Pakistan. Hope they will be safe.

But fore now, let's take a look to what went down in Croatia and discover more about that country and the crew that visited it.

If you have any insight, link or video of Croatia that you want share please do in the comment section bellow.
Enjoy life, travel and keep on skateboarding.

Here are a few photos of Adam on Jesse Taylor's blog :
http://www.jessetaylor.ca/
Adam now lives in Whistler since 2007 and is some times hitting the street of Vancouver to leave his mark. I saw him during the Ripper Canada Tour this past August and I must say that he surprised me. Still got his pocket tricks and bangers but got time to perfect his style.
Make sure stay tuned for the video of the tour and see what went down.

Hello everyone! I write some words from Encinitas, California, to describe you the trip which my girlfriend and I live for a little more than a month and a half now. After a few weeks here, I would say that it is probably one of the best places to live in the world. There is the beach, surfing, so many perfect street spots, concrete parks, sunny weather everyday (no rain since our arrival), etc. I would also say that life here is so mellow; people are not stressed or pressed all the time. Most people I know surf or skate during their lunch pause to give you an example. I actually film and take photos several times per week with Brian Walnum, who works at Nixon. This very talented filmer/photographer brings me to all the best spots of southern California. You will see some footage in the 5-0 Boardshop movie (located south shore of Quebec City) which will be on sale next spring. Here are some skateboard PHOTOS taken by Brian and a few others. I will give you more news in the next few weeks. I going back to Quebec for a weekend, especially for the Premiere of the Ripper Euro Video, on September 27th, be there folks!

August 15th 2007 The summer is going to its end! We are back from Europe since June 8th and for some riders, it did not take long before taking back the plane! VINCENT is currently in Encinitas, California, since July 28th and will remain in the USA until the end of December for his studies at California State University. If you are going to California during ASR, which will be held in San Diego from September 7 to 10, don't hesitate to contact him! Photographs and more news from Vincent are to come. ALEX also didn't wait long before taking the plane. In fact, Alex is now in Whistler, BC, since the beginning of July and will probably go to San Diego thereafter! Ti Pat was in fire shortly after our return from Europe, on June 9th, at the OPEN Atlas (Video). A series of best tricks was organized for the day and Pat returned home with 850$! What was needed to settle its debts contracted during the EURO trip because of all the Coca-Colas he drank at 5 euros each! lol Last Sunday, it was with style that PAT finished 2nd at the Vans WARPED Tour and he is now 200$ richer! ADAM chills in Montreal this summer. You will probably see him at his traditional spots: Peace park or Berry Square. After being out of his injuries, he seems ready for a prodigious end of season! In fact, he finished 2nd at the St-Hilaire contest (QC) last week end! TIM works in close cooperation with the Monkey Bar of Quebec City to present the Ripper Euro Trip movie premiere by the end of September, more information to come within 3 weeks. Tim has performed very well at the contest Marches Attaques in Levis, settled up by 5-0 boardshop Video. Indeed the fact that he broke his deck during the finals, he had success with several tricks, including a huge frontside blunt on the ledge, smith 180 out also on the ledge and a kick front board! Tim finished 4th! He also finished in 3rd position at Payday Contest in Quebec City, he has now 300$ more in his banking account. MICAH is currently in touch with several partners for the organization of a series of premiere of the Ripper movie towards the end of September (Sherbrooke, Montreal and Quebec City), more information to come! I have just signed a contract with Red Bull for the hosting (on the mic) of a series of events which will take place by the end of August. The dates will be transmitted only via the mailing list! Subscribe and come to the events, the concept is awesome! Also, we work actively on the new 2008 Ripper catalogue. The new graphs are SOO SICK! A mixture of several tendencies, a nice mix of colors so be looking on March 08 for the Ripper products in stores near you! Check out the evenements a venir ! Peace!
January 2007: while the wind and the cold invaded Quebec, Pat Tremblay, Mathieu Giroux (friend), Alex Rousseau (friend) and myself (Vincent Morin) took a flight to Tampa in Florida to take part in the most prestigious skateboard amateur contest in the world, Tampa Am! Upon our arrival, we were disappointed of the sanitary state of the place we would be staying for the next couple of gays ; the Milner Hotel. To make a long story short : cockroaches in the shower, woman hair under the bed, a very active crack dealer in the front room, woman in the office who thought she was Tony Montana, etc. However, the contest was incredible! 250 riders came from everywhere throughout the world for the honour and prestige of the event and to get known by the skateboarding industry. Here are some of the most know skater that we saw during the contest : Torey Pudwill, Andrew Pott, David Gonzalez, Sierra Fellers, Sean Malto, etc. Pat Tremblay also skated very well, finishing into 66th position in front of many known names. Finally, we want to thanks Ryan Clements (Tampa Am master) and all the crew of the Skatepark of Tampa, for continuing to make this event more amazing each year for all the skateboarding ams. Thansk to the sponsors that made it happen (Vans , Split, Empire skate shop et Ripper Skateboards). PHOTOS

To break the beginning of the winter, 5-0 Boardshop from Levis set up Thursday, November 30th, a Poser Game at Pub Levisien, broadcast on a huge screen TV LIVE!! In fact, it was a Battle of the brands. The contest put together the 5 Skateboard brands from Quebec: Optimum, Union, Father, ULC and Ripper. Tim Martin, Pat Tremblay as well as our friend Louis Gregoire were registered for our team. Every Team performs very well by bringing out incredible tricks on the floor of the Pub, but Ripper finally won the fight!! Indeed, it's been Pat Tremblay and Louis Gregoire who compete in a crazy final. "Popio" Louis finally got the best over the young Pat, confirming that he was not still ready to give up his title. Congratulations Louis, you're the best!!! Thanks to Mike and etienne from 5-0 Boardshop to have making this magnificent event happen. Photo Alex Mercier !!!

Last Tuesday, Adam and myself were present at the movie premier Skirtboarders at the Plaza theatre in Montreal to see the part of Margaux Walker ! A really good film, orchestrate by Mathilde Pigeon with the collaboration of many filmers and artists which include Frank Lam and Zema . As the first production in that kind in Quebec, we were proud to know that Margaux had her place in it with all those pioneers ! Margaux showed us, at the end of the film, a dynamic part which represent the result of all the years that she have been skating ! The movie is pretty nice ! The music, which have been made only by Montreal's artists, illustrate perfectly the spirit of those girls and gives us a smile during the projection ! We absolutely recommend everyone to purchase a copy of this master piece, unique in his kind ! For more info : Rugged Riders ! Photo: Babas !

I always wanted to travel for skateboarding and this year it happened for the first time ! After finishing in second place at the DC National at Orkus (Montreal, QC) on 30 riders, I got the golden ticket for the big finals in Calgary on the Slam City Jam course on august 25th ! Robert Leonard, my father and I flew to Calgary on august 24th. We stayed two nights in the Westin hotel, wich is downtown and really close to the Slam course ! It was my first contest outside of Quebec, I finished 20th. We had 2 runs of one minute each and top 10 were advancing to the finals. I was a stressed in my first run and I missed a few tricks ! My second run was alright, but I wasn't able to make it to the final's ! I really enjoy and loved that experience ! On that same night and the day after, I watch the pros skate and I gave RIPPER Stickers to many people at the event ! Also, I street skating with 3 friends that I had met at the event, it was cool ! I came back on Sunday august 27th. It was the best time of my life ! Thanks to every one that make it happen ! ALEX PHOTOS

For the summer season, Ripper Skateboards organized a series of events called The Ripper Skates Nights! Our team trailed around the province of Quebec with the goal of shaking the local skateboard scene in several cities such as St-Hyacinthe, Rimouski, Victoriaville, Mont Tremblant and Montreal. The skateboarders had a lot to enjoy with a demo by the Ripper team, some Best Tricks contests, an Ollie Contest, Trick tips for the beginners, a lot of Prices to give, etc. Of course, the evenings would not have been so fabulous without the presence of the famous BBQ on which each could cook and eat excellent hot dogs or very bloody beefsteaks, according to dates! Ripper Skateboards would like to thank all the sponsors of this tour: Aeon Footwear, Expose Magazine, Mtl-33 and Qc.Skateboard Camp! Thank you also to all the shops and skateparks which involved in this project: Broli, Alternative, Warriors, Gravite and JM Court. A video editing of the tour is now available directly on our website. You can then see the exploit of Ti-Pat Tremblay, Adam Dufour, Tim Martin, Vince Morin as well as the friends which came with us, Enjoy! VIDeO

It's official, the Ripper products are now available in France! Indeed, Ripper Skateboards has been taken by FKS Distribution which is located in Parisian suburbs. The negotiations finished during our trip in May, in Paris. The first packages were carried out a few weeks ago successfully. Our trip in Europe helped us to organize our entry within the European scene very well. However, we just start searching for promotional partners (magazines, riders, photographers, cameraman, events manager, etc) and many shops all around France; who wish to work with us for the next season (spring-summer 2007). If you wish to join our team, do not hesitate to contact us! We plan another trip to Europe before the end of 2007 in order to consolidate our place on the old continent and of course, to bring back photos and video for an upcoming Ripper movie !
Last Sunday takes place the Vans Warped Tour, an International festival of music, at the Jean Drapeau park in Montreal. During this day, a competition of mini-ramp also taked place! A large crowd was present to admire tricks of the riders such as Jean-Michel Gaudrault, Frank Filly Pare, Hugo Balek, Nick Cote, Pickle, Huges Beauchamps, Cedric Jones, Xavier Doyo, Francis Freestyler Lavalle, Margaux Walker, Annie Gulia and Ti-Pat Tremblay. The contest concept was very simple: a jam of one hour which select the 5 guys who was going to pass to the final. Everyone ripped during the 60 minutes, but only 5 warriors passed: Hugo Balek, Pickel, Xavier Doyo, an unknown and Ti-Pat Tremblay. It's been a hot final but here's the final classification: 1) Ti-Pat Tremblay 2) Xavier Doyo 3) Pickel Congratulations to all the riders and especially to Ti-Pat for its victory! Also, let's mention that Ti-Pat finished first at the contest of Lasalle (Quebec) which took place last Thursday. He also won the best trick contest on the pyramid (Bs 180 late flip). Ti-Pat and Hugo Balek (shove-it late shove-it) separated the money finally! Margaux Walker finished in second place at the same event in the girls category! Good job Margaux!!! Cheers to Caroline Berube for the organization and Nick Cote for hosting! PHOTOS de Nitz Walsh !

This saturday The Watch and Learn event, which was set up by Deluxe skateshop and Qc Skateboard Camp, took place in Quebec city. The format of the competition was very simple with 2 individual qualification runs to be part of the final. From RIPPER, Tim Martin and Vince Morin made very well by finishing 4th and 6th on a total of 30 inscriptions in the Pro category. We have to say that the best riders of the province of Quebec were there, hungry to win the cash prices! Therefore, congratulations to the organization and to all the riders who were present during this day. ANALOG Clothing

Hello Every one ! I am back from Miami ! We did a supper cool demo at the grand opening of the Palmetto Bay park, but unfortunately when we came back on the next days, it was close. In fact, some kids weren't able to wait to skate it and got cot by the POPO, so we weren't able to skate it the next day ! It was really sad, so at the end we didn't have any photo except those from the beach and the hotel room (who was a little messed up ! hihi We chilled around Palmetto Bay and got lost because of our precious GPS (who didn't work a 100% of the time and brought us at some strange place !) any how, it was funny ! It was extremely fun to be their for the week end ! Can't wait to go back ! Viva Miami !!! Sea Mwalker Photos

The Ripper Skate Nights are finished at the moment; the last event took place Saturday evening at the St-Jovite skatepark in Mont-Tremblant. We want to thanks all the shops which invited us and all those who came to watch or skate. A video montage of all the 4 stops will be available very soon. Little-Pat Tremblay is on tour right now around the province with the skateboard federation of Quebec. Moreover, he finished in 3rd place at the KC Project final which was held in Montreal Sunday on July 16th. Margaux Walker went down to Miami to spend time skating under the palm trees. We will publish some picks of her trip as soon as possible, have a nice trip Margaux! On their sides, Adam Dufour and Tim Martin just come back from an ankle injury that kept them unable to skate for a while; they are back on the board to finish the summer right way. Stay tuned !

Now that Vincent, Franck Photoo, Andre Savard and myself are back from Europe, Micah is still travelling for the Ripper's EuroTrip. The past 2 weeks, we have had the chance to explore the europeen skateboard scene while meeting many shop owners, local riders and skating a lot of excellent europeen spots. Because we were short in time during our last days of travelling, we didn't had time to put some new updates of the trip on the web site last monday. However, we are going to put a lot of pictures of the trip and a video of Vincent's tricks next monday for sure. See you next week !
